What to expect

Visiting a new place can always be a little daunting at first, so let us take a little time to let you know what you might expect.

on your arrival

As you arrive at the Kings centre, you will be greeted at the door by a friendly face, who will welcome you to the church and give you the weekly information leaflet telling you what's on.

If you have any questions on your arrival, where to find things, etc, please ask your greeter.

order of service

Normally we begin our service with the singing of several songs, which we call worship.

If you are a new visitor you don't have to join in with the singing, and can feel free to sit and watch.

After worship, we have weekly announcements and a time of giving of offerings, which is expected from church members only - if you are a visitor to the Kings, then you are not expected to give an offering.

We then have a message given by our weekly speaker.

The order of service may vary slightly from week to week, and we are always open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

the message

Our main message each week is given by a speaker from the Kings Church, or by a visiting guest speaker.

A selection of our weekly messages are now available for you to listen online.

If you need to talk to someone or ask questions after the message is given, there is always time set aside to allow you to do this with.

afterwards

After the servce we enjoy a time of relaxed conversation over tea or coffee, which you are most welcome to stay for and get aquainted with our regular church members.
